This site is devoted exclusively to console applications--applications you can invoke from a Windows Command prompt or DOS prompt, sans GUI.

Most apps are free, some have a modest license fee.

This site is organized in two sections: 32-bit and 16-bit apps. The 32-bit apps will run only under a true 32-bit operating system (as designated by the app itself). The 16-bit apps will run on a pure DOS machine, or from a Windows Command prompt.
